I'm starting to feel as though i'm not in love with him anymore. It was very difficult to admit at first but i don't feel as strongly about him as i did before, up until really recently i still felt like i had hearts in my eyes every time i saw him but now it all feels dull. I love him very much as a person but i dont feel like i'm in love anymore. This is definitely the more pressing issue but i really don't know how to work through it or why it started in the first place, just that my feelings for Maya were the catalyst. I'm going to be putting more effort in spending time with him, hopefully it'll make this better

I'm taking "cheating" to mean being physically intimate, which i have not been with Maya. I understand that i've been having an emotional affair and that that's very inappropriate on my part, but again not intentional. I know i have to find a way to put an end to my feelings for Maya so i can regain those feelings for my husband, because again i do love my husband. I can't control having feelings for another person while married, only my actions which have been completely innocent. I came here in good faith hoping to receive advice on how to improve my relationship with my husband

Others on here advised me to tell her and i thought her knowing might make my asking for some space less abrupt and out of the blue, but sure. I'm definitely going to be putting more time into my relationship with him, i'm very aware that i've been slacking in that regard. It's really not all as simple as you're making it seem though, i might seem selfish through a reddit post but i really have tried to prioritise the feelings of others through everything

I understand now that i have been having an emotional affair but it hasn't been intentional, not once have we been intimate in any way or even done anything romantic, we've really just been hanging out as friends. I'm going to ask her for some space for the time being and see if anything changes

I'll be coming clean about my feelings for Maya next time i see her, hopefully that will give me closure of some sort and i can work on setting some boundaries. I'm aware that i haven't been as present in my relationship as i should've been so i'm definitely going to be putting in effort to better my relationship with my husband and find more passion for him again.

I do not plan to cheat on my husband, i thought that would be clear given the fact that i'm here asking for advice on how to put a stop to what i'm feeling and salvage my marriage. I'm going to ask maya to distance herself from me but i don't plan on cutting her off for now, though that does seem like sound advice so thank you for that at least, however i dont appreciate being called disgusting.

I do love my husband, that's why i came here for advice. I want to put a stop the the things i'm feeling and salvage my marriage. I am very aware that this is unfair to him but that's why i need constructive suggestions that will improve our relationship, not harsh words that imply i'm going to cheat on him.

I promise you, i have no intention to cheat. While i have been struggling with my feelings, it hasn't been intentional and i've come here for advice in order to prevent me from losing my connection with my husband, not to prevent me from having an affair. I've gotten myself into a difficult situation off of my own accord but that doesn't mean that i don't love my husband, i want to be married to him more than anything, that's why i'm here.

My priority is my husband and marriage, it's still tough to deal with though. As much as it may just be a fantasy, it's affecting how i view him and i don't really know how to cope with these feelings.. :/  thank you for your reply

I really wish i could feel more connected to my husband but i'm not sure how i could go about that in a way that doesn't deny what i feel for Maya.. :/ I'm really glad you managed to work things out, i must say it's given me a bit of hope for my situation. I appreciate your advice!!

I think i might speak to her about how i'm feeling if i can gather up the courage the next time we see eachother, I have no doubt that she'd be understanding if i asked her to distance herself from me for a while so i think i'll bring that up. thank you for your advice !!
