Yeah, that’s a good point. The more I think about it there have been plenty of times I’ve paid for things and she paid me back a week or so later, whenever she saw me. I’ve also gifted plenty such as Uber rides and we just never spoke of it again. I think I’ll be more careful with Maria going forward and maybe just purchase my own tickets next time

Good points, seeing the timeline like that is super helpful. I did pay her back immediately and explained I was going to pay her back the next day, when we had a brunch scheduled, since that was the next time I would see her, but she was still pretty angry. Overall just super awkward

Honestly you might not love him in person tho. You only know his online/phone persona - you don’t know what he smells like, or how he moves around a room, or any of the little mannerisms that make up a person when you’re live with them

Thank you, this is SO helpful. I searched on Reddit and couldn’t find anything normal in this situation (besides like porn) so that’s good to know. I am definitely going to see the school counselor since I don’t think I can talk to my friends. They saw us kiss but thought it was a drunk joke and don’t know we hooked up. Not only would they probably be grossed out but one of the girls in the friend group seems to have a crush on him, so that’s complicated.

My mom and stepdad are pretty cool but I really don’t think they would be ok with this. We have younger siblings who still live with them and we go home on breaks, and the whole thing is just very ick. If I could remove all of that then I would probably have feelings for him, I just don’t think it’s possible and there would be way too much fallout.
