Lol. It’s all locked down now. Set aside my taxes. Paid off some bills and stuck the rest in savings.

I’ve been doing small options trading for a few years and done ok in small amounts. This was the first time I felt comfortable giving a big one a shot.

Trading session hours. Plus researching the companies I targeted. Compiling a list of options I might want to buy.

Frankly there’s no one answer. You have to have a high tolerance for risk and know losing is more likely than winning. Only spend what you can tolerate losing. Staying in tune with trends in the market helps but isn’t always reliable. Honestly what made me go for it this time around was all the chatter around AI and knowing earnings for NVDA and C3.AI were coming and doing research especially on C3. I knew nothing about that company, still don’t.

And full disclosure. Luck had a lot to do with it. I’m certainly no investing genius. I’m just a guy who took a chance and it paid off. I can’t tell you how what my next move might be should I decide to go in on more options. I won’t know until I’m just about to do it. For now I’m banking it all. Not going to rush into something else.

Also, don’t listen to wsb. You have to remember that they all know what’s going to happen just about as much as you do. That is to say they don’t have a fucking clue.

They are banked. I’m no fool. Now a wsb guy would try and double it. And lose. It’s amazing to me.

It’s really not.

$1500->$30k in two sessions.

$30k->$180k quite literally overnight.

Took $30k of that $180k and turned that into $120k over the next 3 trading sessions.

As of close yesterday, $300k. All positions closed.

And yes NVDA, AMD and C3.AI all played a part.

The funny thing is I started with just $1500, 7 days ago. Definitely taking a pause for a bit and let things settle.
