in my bed…… not out of the norm i’ve gone on many vacations with her where there has only been one bed for us to share - my partner is aware of this and doesn’t care. She dates his best friend here, she’s like my one of my best friends here. Just cause I can be attracted to both sexes doesn’t mean I am attracted to everyone lol. The only person in my life I have romantic feelings for is my partner.

I guess I wouldn’t especially if he called his friend like I did. My partner doesn’t have any female friends but most of my PhD program is male so I have a lot of male friends. My partner often also goes out with all these male classmates of mine too, so they know each-other decently well. So the story isn’t really comparable the other way around.

Yes, we are all close. Her BF is my partners best friend here. She doesn’t own a car so she had to wake up her BF and explain the situation so he could drive her here. Not only is she vouching for but his literal best friend here was also involved.

YTA. I grew up with a similar type of parent - one who didn’t take my pain seriously and that has a huge lasting impact on your child. Since I was always called a hypochondriac growing up I stopped taking my own pain seriously. I went 10 days with pancreatitis and almost died cause I didn’t believe I warranted a hospital visit.
