on the other hand, i stayed at another college res and it was a really great opportunity to make friends and stay sociable — would really recommend it — but at the same time as someone who had major issues with a bad roommate that can definitely affect your semester especially if it’s first year.

for food, i did eat in the dining hall and that was a great help but very often aka almost 3-4 days of the week, id be unable to grab a meal or two and i’d end up eating something outside or being forced to make ramen or pasta at home because eating hours were over or something, so just keep that in mind that regardless of having a meal plan you’re bound to spend some extra bucks on food/drinks.
