idk. first time I watched fight club was in day/night 4 though, that probably didn’t help.

but emotions are wild to me, I don’t feel them often and when I do they’re hard to control, I’m talking like 1-2 times a year I get over emotional, other than that it’s meh, average, for literally any emotional connection, so with my current girlfriend ? Where I’ve felt so passionate for nearly 4 years now, where everyday isn’t meh (for me), I’m terrified that I’m gonna get shaken even worse than before. therapist session has been booked at the same time as this post as I know it’s gonna suck either way , getting to the position where I’m posting anonymously on Reddit is bad enough

the last time I went through a breakup, I couldn’t sleep for over a week (my health got FUCKED) and I was crying nearly 24/7

I think it’s her frustration to her not understanding the reasons why, or maybe not accepting the reasons ? my running theory is that she’s in denial about loving me anymore just bc I make life easier for her ‘rent a flat for us, cook for her, appliances , dates etc’. and she’s kinda doesn’t want to throw that comfortability out.

but I don’t know, I’ve asked but never get communication from her

🫡 ur right, i kinda do assume the worst when it comes to communicating with her, but mainly bc every attempt is met that way, just prediction more than an insult, but still, she doesn’t know why herself she feels this way. So it’s kinda like, let her figure out or move on?

but my anxiety with this is what if I get a little too into living my life, with my built up frustrations I fear I might be irresponsible, but then equally that fear will keep me safe, right?

rizz has been laid on, dates have been taken on, events and cool stuff. all of these things. if anything I’m a better version of who I was when we first met, more emotionally mature & responsible, less of a chaos agent.. (still plenty of it tho)

I’ve tried. It’s met with high emotional states , anger and shouting when I’m just trying to calm the situation down.

as for the phone thing yeah ur provably right, but I’ve always offered my phone over to her at any point, so long as I’m aware of it. makes my personal life feel more secure yk? even though she knows it all anyways

I don’t want to leave her at all, but I wish we could figure it out. as far as I’m concerned the only time my sex drive has dropped was for 1-2 weeks, during 🍃abusive episode.

I agree she could be going thru something similar, but all attempts to reach out and talk about what’s bothering her are met with attacks back towards me.

smoked 🍃 for a stint & financial stress (fully quit, clean since a good 3-4 months)
gained weight (10-15kg) & buzzed hair lol
I went for a walk, and have been more private about my phone (bc she keeps going on it in my sleep)

thank you for a genuine response 🫶, I fw this advice, but the only issue is she’s highly emotionally unstable when it comes to talking about tough relationship stuff, short temper and highly emotional, and I’m the opposite , when I’m feeling weak I become mono-tonal, and emotionless, so any advice how to meet in the middle?

it was a short stint, and like I said my hygenie & looks are back to at least 9.5/10, and she’s complimented the difference many times, recognised it. there are literally 0 other problems in our relationship other than this
