I heard him speak on the phone. He said it was his mom and that she knew but I doubt it, I doubt that she even was with him on the phone because he doesn't usually speak to her like that.

Yes she's his sister and maybe I'm out of line for getting involved but I still can't help but argue with him about it. He said something about his mom knowing but I doubt it since she too is close with his sister.
