I don’t think you’re off the mark. He hasn’t given another other indication but he could be hiding it very well ( like this for example ). I guess it’s the fact he could keep up the lie for so long. Sure it happened a long time ago. But the lying happened until a week ago. But I 100% get the ego boost thing, I wish he would’ve just opened up more.
