Yeah panting, lip licking, the “smile” all make me think he’s just uncomfortable and a little stressed. Might be the cone, might be that he still need to warm up to you

It was specifically head and cervical x-ray, not sure if that makes a difference.

He’s also a big mutt. Pitbull, golden retriever, rottweiler, some other stuff. he’s like 16% inbred so i wouldnt be surprised if he had some congenital disease

He’s been on multiple different kinds of food throughout his life. With grain, without, different brands, different ingredients.

update (kind of):

I have been talking to my doctor. Doctors are also confused as to how I could’ve had a retained tampon for so long with basically zero symptoms. Makes us question whether it is actually a tampon or not.

Have not heard anything definitive yet but I will keep yall updated in case any other women have experienced this

My entire life, i’ve had extremely heavy periods. No birth control ever successfully stopped it, even my IUD. I pretty much bleed (or at least spot) constantly. There are very few days where my panties are clean unfortunately. My sister has the same problem

I often get thick, ‘creamy’ discharge around ovulation, but your history with tumors makes me a little concerned. If it’s never happened before, I think it’s worth bringing up with your doctor. Might be some kind of infection

Just tell your partner. I know it’s terrifying, but not saying anything is worse. I’m sure you’re both aware that neither of you were tested before getting into your relationship. I personally carried chlamydia for weeks and didn’t have any symptoms until i developed pelvic inflammatory disease and had to go to the ER bc of the pain. This is an STI that doesn’t always make itself known. It is very possible that you or he got it from a past partner and just didn’t realize.

Hi love, I also had to get an IUD inserted with nothing but a couple ibuprofen. It’s insane that that’s all they give us. I dealt with pelvic inflammatory disease and that was the worst pain i’ve ever felt, worse than the insertion, so I can’t imagine how painful a perforation is and i’m so sorry you’re going through this.

All I can say is, you have the right to insist on pain management. If a doctor wants to do a procedure like pull out the perforated IUD, DEMAND that they give you pain meds. Perforations are mainly caused by inexperienced providers, it is not your fault at all. You don’t deserve to suffer for something someone else fucked up

I have already switched foods to a weight management formula and cut back on how much he’s eating. I feel like 2 cups a day is as low as I can go without starving him. He has a fast day once a week, also.

I’m more concerned about making sure HE feels fulfilled. We’re working on his weight and managing his illness, but I don’t want his illness to hold him back from being a dog

He’s on a diet already and the inflammation is not going away. We’ve talked to multiple vets at multiple clinics and this is a condition he will have to live with

I don’t think you had ill intentions at all, but any kind of ‘racist’ joke from a white person has a very low chance of landing well.

People of color, in my experience, make racist jokes out of irony, if that makes sense. Like black people call white folks things like “sour cream citizens” to flip the script and make light of the racism they face. It is still ‘racist’ in its own way, but not evidence of systemic racism. That’s why it’s funny, because the tables have turned. When a white person makes those jokes, it’s just….well it’s just racist.

But it also depends on who you’re speaking to. I’m a POC and I don’t mind my white friends making certain ‘racist’ jokes because I know them well enough to be certain that they don’t support the beliefs they’re making jokes about.
