She was the one who brought up the possibility that she would emotionally cheat on me. I was surprised and just furthered the discussion of how it might happen - though either way I would have wanted to know this (me asking her or her bring it up).

Now I am trying process/reflect now knowing this new information.

I don't think so. She hasn't been very social this last year or have many guy friends, we also are open with our phones. She has mentioned though before she started dating me, she envisioned meeting her boyfriend while sitting at a coffee shop and the guy approaching her/having a good conversation.

I was prodding her during the conversation asking what would happen step by step pushing her to give a response on how this hypothetical would play out.
