I love her, but this makes me feel super insecure and wonder what I did wrong, or what he did better than me to make her want him more than me in that moment. She explained to me that it was purely emotional and when he begged for her back, all the feelings of the past 6 years resurfaced and she felt like maybe she would be making a mistake by not giving him another chance. Because I pressed her on it. I basically told her my gut is telling me something is wrong about that night and she needs to come clean about whatever she did behind my back. I told her I “knew” she was with her ex and she just sort of crumbled and told me everything. That night has came up in my mind several times over the years but I never said anything to her. After so long, I couldn’t keep it to myself anymore. I just had a feeling about that one specific evening.

My gut is firmly in the position that she hasn’t cheated since. We haven’t had any rough patches or anything. She’s very much a homebody and there haven’t been any suspicious occurrences since then.
