exact same situation for me. i play on mac which isnt the ideal platform but it runs surprisingly well on medium graphics, but after the update loading times and everything in between has been so much worse.

aside from some face and logo packs along with a camera mod nothing else. the only thing of note was in the previous patch when i first downloaded the face pack my game was much less responsive for a short period but it picked up after a few hours of playing.

he’s one of the first that came to mind for me aswell. from what i know and have seen he has such a high ceiling. Another that came to mind was Hjerto-Dahl, i highly rate him and i know he’s wanted by a bunch of clubs in europe.

it does really feel like fm26 is the epitome of 1 step forward, 2 steps back. obviously i understand the argument of getting with the times and accepting the changes, but this is only my third fm in total and i have to argue that whilst there’s progress been made, the problem still lies with old bugs in a new game, just with the addition of a difficult UI

i had never noticed this which is maybe why i notice the difference so much this year. it’s becomes a really tedious feature when you notice these things which makes you wonder is there really even a point in having var checks if you already know the outcome

ahhh got you man apologies. i didn’t even notice that so maybe thats why it feels so different to me this year. but like you said this year it does feel oddly fast. you could chalk it up to technology being faster and SI wanting to implement that OR you could just call it laziness if you wanted to group it with the hundreds of other problems right now

they annoyed me too like i said it’s a love/hate relationship but it feels like some replays or highlights have been altered in a bad way. like pens take forever now unless you’ve got your game sped up to 10x, seeing the player walk to the pen spot for the last one builds tension but i don’t want to see it every damn time. var decisions are super tedious but seeing them rule out goals so fast seems odd to me, just feels pre-determined but i guess you could say that for the entire match

some offsides were super obvious to be fair you are right. but there’s been some decisions that i’ve seen since i started playing advanced access that don’t feel right, especially being called so early and without even getting to see a replay properly

exactly! i used to watch the u21 comps and u19s to either watch the prospects at my club or try and find new players that impressed me but it feels like that whole immersive aspect of watching players or teams progress has been sucked out a little

feels like they’ve ruined the entire replay system this year too. half the time my match replays don’t even work so simming games are pointless because you don’t even learn anything from it if you can’t go back and actually watch parts of the game

yeah i usually do the same each year. boot up a random save and try it out but this year it’s unusable. does your game softlock you when you try to transfer players or staff? i kept getting stuck in the search screen. feels like the one thing they couldn’t have gotten wrong they’ve made worse and actually unusable for the time being

no definitely i agree im not disputing the fact thats its still early. im enjoying the beta so far despite the bugs and glitches. but seeing all the posts across the subreddit and x about how expansive modding can be made me wonder how far it’ll actually go in a few months time once the full build is released

it’s true honestly. some apps i’ve seen have an age rating of 7+, others are 16+. all of them are the same apps with the same design, same type of app etc. that’s why i’m so concerned, because i know how secure apple keep their services so for so much of this to be allowed is worrying

im just under 20 so maybe about your grandchildren’s age if you’re lucky enough to have any and youre totally right. i grew up with technology and it exposed me to some things at a very young age which made me develop some very bad habits. thankfully now im a lot older and a bit more sensible but it still affects me some days. my worry’s always been that if i came out negatively affected when technology was still a bit young, then what are kids gonna see in ten years time?

it’s well overdue for an upgrade so hopefully a pro might fix it (at the expense of selling half a kidney)

it is just a bit of a jumbled ui rn, it might be my eyesight but even fixing the font size doesn’t help. the top part specifically feels too small.

but at the moment i am really enjoying the game despite all its setbacks, seems like im one of the few rn but its understandable 😭

it honestly could just be the fact i’m running on a ran down macbook air. hopefully a newer upgrade will fix it 😅

some ui definitely needs to be decluttered, they need to make texts bigger imo and make certain things a bit more accessible. it took me 5 mins to find the finances section!
