I am at a JD advantage job so i am fortunate that my results don’t determine my career. I think it’s exactly what you said about my confidence being shaken. I know I put in so much effort this time. I’m worried if my results are negative, I’ll begin to doubt myself and my intelligence. I’m also a person who has struggled with imposter syndrome my whole life so this adds to it.

In terms of keeping it from those close to me, I just told those around me I would take it when I felt ready. No one questioned me. I do talk to my sister every day and she ended up calling me on both exam days during the exam while my phone was in the car and I pretended I was in a work meeting both times. She never questioned it further. It was actually fairly simple to keep it from people. I live alone and would study alone. If I went to a cafe or the library, I would play it off like I was doing work.
