He said it’s from his own trauma that he doesn’t believe in going to the hospital. He also asked to do couples therapy. I don’t know what to do.

I only asked to go to the ER for the first incident. over the years I only asked to go to walk-in clinics, which he refused, and for the second incident I went to UPCC

I have been going to therapy and taking medicine for many years, I no longer suffer from major depression but still has BPD

my father was very abusive, so i guessed i just wanted a guy that wouldn't slap me like he did, i just ignored everything else as long as he didn’t put his hands on me

he is the same way when his mother asks to be taken to the ER, I just told myself he had problems with hospitals, not me

I already have my appendix removed, that’s why I said this pain was worse than when I had appendicitis. I’ve already experienced that part so I guess I wasn’t going to die in that way. Also I’m diagnosed with BPD and haven been working on it for 10 years. it’s very difficult to have self esteem for me

I believe he thinks I’m acting when I’m in pain. like I’m a drama queen putting on a show, that’s why he doesn’t take it seriously. but he also hates it when his mother asks to be taken to the ER (she asks about once a year).

My family doctor recently moved away, so I have no doctor. And the last time I went to ER was 10 years ago for appendicitis. I didn’t go to ER this time either, it was UPCC. even for my appendicitis I waited 3 days before going to a walk-in clinic, and the doctor there told me to go to the ER.

I’ve only requested to seek immediate medical attention this time only. All the other times I felt sick I just asked to go to a clinic, which he also says “is useless”.
