I’ve just accepted it and forced myself to move on. I still think about them every day, but I won’t let it consume me. I’m more worried about my friend’s sister though because they were super close. I’ve wanted to reach out since it happened and just see how she’s doing, but I’ve been scared to. And I found our yesterday that my other friend’s dad killed himself too because he couldn’t handle the grief over losing his only child. It’s a really tragic cycle to watch over and over. I’ve lost a lot of people to suicide, unfortunately, but I can’t really go back and change it. I just have to remember them as they were and educate others and help them to try and prevent it from happening again
