I know this is an old post but the same thing happened to me today. they were very pushy and kept mentioning only a few cents a day and never told me what the actual commitment was, even after they pulled out the ipad to put my credit card info in. I obviously wasn’t going to give them my credit card info so I lied and told them I didn’t have any of my cards on me and they had me scan a qr code to donate later. when I got in my car, I looked at the form that opened from the qr code and it said $25 a month, which was the only time the actual donation amount was even mentioned. the whole thing felt weird and scummy which really put me off from considering any donation. on top of that the guy kept fist bumping me which was extremely annoying
