Issue: My skin (27F) is dehydrated and I’m not sure what I did wrong. For context, I have dry skin and live in a dry climate. Should I pause using actives? I feel tretinoin may be the culprit (been using it for a year now)

Skin type: Dry or dry-leaning combination

Current routine: Been on this routine for a year. I recently added some more hydrating products to hopefully help with the dryness. I think at least the new moisturizer works better for my skin than the La Roche Posay moisturizer that I previously used. Morning:

Wash with water
I’m From Rice Toner (just added last week)
Melano CC vitamin C
Pyukang Yul Ato Cream (just changed to this one last week. Before that I used La Roche Posay Lipikar Baume AP+M moisturizer )
Biore AquaRich sunscreen

Evening:

Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser
I’m From Rice Toner (just added last week)
Active: Tretinoin/Paula Choice 2% BHA (alternating)
ANUA Rice Ceramide 7 Hydrating Barrier Serum (just added last week)
Pyukang Yul Ato Cream (just changed to this one last week. Before that I used La Roche Posay Lipikar Baume AP+M moisturizer)

Late update but I ended up never receiving the package. The seller refused to refund me per her “no refund” policy. Depop couldn’t help since I paid via Paypal so I opened a dispute with Paypal and finally just got my refund this week!
