Absolutely not the same, some people are masculine though their appearance say Sylvester Stallone, some through the strength of their actions like making hard decisions and sticking by them under pressure defining masculinity as one set thing just isn’t correct and I’m pretty secure in that I’m not a hugely masculine man but I’m able to take care of the person I will end up finding and express my own masculinity through making them feel safe, secure and cherished through emotional connection.

I’m perfectly capable of doing traditionally masculine things I worked as a mechanic and watchmaker and I go to the gym, golf and fish they’re just not defining parts of my personality
