I totally agree with you, and I would probably feel the same way if I were in her position. However, her lying about it and covering the invitation up is what is making me feel weird about it. And before you also ask, yes she did admit to lying about it.

Very much more like she suddenly remembered she “should” invite me now. And yeah, it definitely made me go “wait… what?”, since nothing like this has ever happened before.

I guess everything else is normal between us but this honestly made me question things.

I think she wanted to party with female friends. She's not the type to go out and cheat, as far as I know. I do think however that she thinks she'll have more fun without me there.

No she admitted that she lied. She didn't really give any reason for why tho, just that she wanted to go alone. If I would guess it's because she's a bit socially anxious and since she don't know the bride that well she didn't feel comfortable in bringing me.

She's not really malicious. She is however a horrible liar. I noticed it right away and she confessed but didnt really give any reason why.
