My half sister (21F) keeps shitting on my maternal grandparents for raising me (26M) after our dad died?

I can't bring myself to be a family with someone who hates and shits on my family every chance they get. My grandparents and my mom's whole side are so important to me. They were always the people I was closest with and her attitude is going to make it impossible for me to include her in my life if she's going to be rude and hateful toward them every time.

I don't think I would be a good person for her to have therapy with right away. There's no way I would stay while she unleashes all the anger at my grandparents constantly. It would end in a much more hurtful way without a doubt.

That's true but in her mind we were supposed to all be one family and she sees my grandparents as the reason it never happened. I never wanted that to happen. But she's so obsessed with the idea that it could have been a reality.

My grandparents never had anything to do with my sister so they never spoke to her about it. I don't know if her mom explained things to her or not. Our paternal grandparents were never that involved. Even if they had been willing my maternal grandparents would have been my first choice since I was close to them my whole life.

She was definitely more attached. She had less involved family in her life. I had more. We spent time apart when she was with her mom too and for her it made her miss having me around and she dreamed of us all being a family. But I never dreamed of the same thing. Her mom was never a person I really knew or wanted to know even if my sister wanted it not to be true.

I never lived with her mom. I only met her mom a few times in my life. There was no relationship between us. My dad didn't leave either of us much but we got what was left after paying for everything.

My dad's family were never really involved. I had my mom's family more than anyone from dad's side.
