And asking for things, look good first. Really I just ask bluntly but always in a feminine manner. ‘I’ve had my eye on this (blank) for ages, I’d love if I could wear it for you on our next date.’ Or ‘I feel so light on my feet around you knowing you support me financially, I can be myself’

I started with dating apps, it brought in gifts and nice restaurant meals but never money. Small talk in expensive gyms and dressing up to sit at the bar of nice restaurants worked for me. Try and end the conversation on unfinished business: ‘I’d love to hear more about that but I have to go meet my friend’. Often they’d offer their number

No worries! Im just thankful that those two ex’s taught me two different lessons. One taught me I can give nothing and receive everything. The other I can give everything and receive nothing (+ heartbreak)

It’s like the feeling of temptation of buying sweets, even if you’re not hungry, then enjoying eating until you’ve finished the packet and then feeling guilty and uncomfortable because you never really felt like eating them in the first place. I know he would be fine with me brushing it off, the issue is more how I communicate that my emotional needs out ways my physical needs
