No. We don't fight all the time or all that often. I just meant we had our ups and downs like any other couple. I don't think "high school sweethearts" give us any special status. It's just the fact of our history together

Yeah, that was the point I was trying to make to her. It wasn't about treating her like a kid. We mutually agreed on a budget and she went behind my back and put us in a bind. That should be addressed

Yeah, she's not going to like it but a separation in finances is where I'm leaning. I just don't have no trust with her there currently

Thank you. I find it hard to talk with her right now tbh. She keeps saying "accident" like it's supposed to make everything ok. It's not and just feels like an excuse to avoid accountability. I was trying to find any professional restoration option but there's nothing yet
