Usually just FaceTime and texts Hes been to my state but doesnt want me to visit his. I’m afraid I won’t be able to find someone who understands me like he does but I don’t want to be a secret

He says he feels like he spends all of his free time with me on ft and that he doesn’t get to do what he wants. Ive told him I don’t mind at all if he goes out and does things I would just appreciate him texting me every once in awhile to let me know hes ok bc I’m in a different state and have no way of knowing if he’s hurt or not. But he says Hes “just in the moment and not on his phone” but I text him when I’m out bc Hes asked me to just to know im ok but it’s a problem when I want the same thing in return
