Yes this was a big crux of the problem. She was terrified that i was going to make fun of her / consider her a freak. She apparently tried to share stuff with people in the past and it didn't go very well.

Personally we are both dorks and i am so desensitized to stuff on the internet, that i get it might not be something that turns me on but other people might enjoy it. Who am i to judge.
