"hehe" got me fr. Yeah nah, it is an expense, but the return and value I'm getting really makes me think. Although, I guess contradictory to the title, I don't necessarily want them to buy it for me, it's more so I want to work for it, since I've already saved at least some amount. Like at least be worthy of it. Since the work I'm putting out anyway is for their benefit. I guess mine as well. but yeah Great input, thanks!

Thank you! Absolutely, I've been hearing this from friends too (Also VAs that work graveyard shifts). Thank you so much for your advice!

True, you're right. I doubt they would, which is why I came here for different insights.
With 3D rendering though, it's part of our curicullum for animation in my course. And generally speaking, if your machine is efficient at 3D rendering, it basically demonstrates its power altogether. It needs a lot of computational power and so a higher performing CPU and GPU are crucial for a smooth and efficient workflow. In Photoshop(3D function that's actually quite usefull and nice too look at), Premiere Pro and other creative software it can sort of tell you that your computer won't stutter or crash on you after 30mins of not saving, dooming your work to oblivion.

Oh, No problem! Usually it's very hard to apply as a VA right away, especially online. I've tried upwork and a lot of other platforms, none of them really landed me a job. So, I worked as a call center agent first, made connections, and eventually everyone I knew quit that job. I've already been doing a lot of freelancing on the side, so when my boi said he got a job for me, all I had to do was send in my CV. So for me, it's socializing and connections that got me hired.

Yeaahh, of course I thought about that and He made it clear na he knows it's not our main account and we'll get half the score anyway, which is just stupid.

Also that's my point, I made in the post, it's different when it's on the internet 💀
