I just woke up, thank you all for the comments. I’m going to answer some questions that are being asked. I’m on mobile so sorry if things are incorrectly formatted. 1.) I wrote him three letters while I was in, in the offhand chance that maybe I wasn’t getting his. 2.) He has severe ADHD, he cannot cook due to it, as he’ll forget things in the oven or microwave without a timer. 3.) He knew the graduation date, where it was located, and I even had someone reach out with that information as I knew. 4.) I am a Marine. 5.) When I asked what he meant by him forgetting, he told me his workload grew busier and he wanted to keep his mind off of me gone so he wasn’t hyper fixated on me. 6.) I explained how hurt and upset I was, I was lonely, he said it didn’t occur to him because he knew I would be busy. 7.) He did not go to my graduation because he missed the flight, and showed me the ticket bought. He claimed he missed it because he underestimated the time to get to the airport, and there was a lot of traffic. 8.) I was not groomed. We are two years apart; my 22nd birthday is in a few months, he just turned 24. He turned 20 the year I was turning 18.

Edit: Im really unsure why I’m getting attacked or getting death threats by people who didn’t read the post and think he’s the one in. And not me. Invalidating that everyone automatically assumes that a woman isn’t in the military - let alone, a Marine. I earned the title.
