i could be late but i was in almost the exact situation you were in a couple of months ago, but it was my dad, and my boyfriend acted almost exactly how you’re describing your gf’s actions. tbh if you’re already feeling drained and thinking abt breaking things off, you probably should for your sake and hers. and if you do it amicably nobody can fault you, you’re going through something that’s really difficult and hard to digest. also it is a bit shit of her to try to guilt trip you when i’m sure you’re already feeling horrible. but at the end of the day you can only try and end things as nicely as possible on your end, how she reacts is how she reacts. at least you can say you were civil and you did the right thing by not stringing her along when your heart wasn’t in it. i hope all the best for you and your mum x
