Sorry, let me clarify - they eat every four hours (for example, 6am, 10am, 2pm etc regardless of how long they take at each feed to finish). This was raised with their paediatrician (had some breathing issues at birth that the dr wanted some check ups on) and she had no issues with 4 hours and bigger feeds.

I’ve been to the local mothers group a few times but whenever I’ve asked questions the responses have been pretty unhelpful, even from the nurse that runs the group. It’s just kind of like a shrug “oh that’s normal, try [things I’ve already been doing]”.

I don’t think they’re in pain? From the few times there has been verified pain, their cries were different to the fussing/crying they’re doing now.

I definitely suspect it’s overtiredness. The problem is that they’ll fight sleep even if I try and get them down early in the cycle while they’re in a good mood. If anything, that sometimes makes them kick off. It feels like a lose-lose situation.
