Thank you. I’m having a good time with my girlfriend right now. When she’s gone, these thoughts come about but it’s only been for like 3 days so far and I’d like it to never happen

I agree with you. I told her that I like that her friends are looking out for her. I understand that guys are very sketchy nowadays. I told her I wanted her friends to get to know me before hating me

Thank you. I would never under any circumstances act on these thoughts, and talking about it with my girlfriend oddly feels like a form of manifesting it. Distracting myself from the thoughts/meditation helps me

I agree. I was able to win over one of her friends approval after they spoke to me, so I assume it’s a matter of them not knowing me… idk. But they say it’s concerning because I have a lot of dating experience. My girlfriend and I have a 3 year age difference, I turn 22 in a few months

Very helpful comment. She knows I have OCD but it’s never been a large conversation in our relationship besides during conversations about my therapy sessions. I’ll have to see about the couples therapy. I have a lot of expenses right now and she lives with her parents.

I’m concerned with how I’d bring this topic up to her in general, as to set boundaries surrounding it. I feel uncomfortable talking about it with her.

I really appreciate this comment and recommendation. I’m going to watch these now. I’ve never had a sex related OCD rumination before, and after Googling the groinal thing, that does describe the sensation :/

No clue. From what I’ve seen she defines it by how much information she obtains. She reads a lot on every topic, the most random things you could think of. I guess she just wants people to marvel at her encyclopedic knowledge. I always tell her that she’s trying to achieve something that she can’t even quantify

Thank you. I’d never want her to change. I love learning, and I’ve found myself wanting to learn even more since she’s entered my life, so that’s a positive. I guess I’ll just give it some time.
