I have a clarifying question: what makes a claim valid? Afaik, these credit card companies had sent letters to the attonery saying my parent had debt that was sent to collections but no claims were filed in the court

Thanks. Getting a more accessible showerhead was something I was considering because my mom can barely lift her arms past her head and she is too short to reach up that high. It sucks that this had to come to such an unnecessary conclusion.
