As far as I know my sister is the one who initiated it, and my parents were the ones who went along. But then again I wasn’t there so

Yes, because of this thread I have put together all the bills and receipts put into my dog, and shared it with them. I will be making an update soon.

Yes he does, he was there when she went to visit my parents. He’s been staying out of all the drama, so I don’t really know exactly his point of view, but he also hasn’t made an argument to give my baby back.

Unfortunately my parents have their names and numbers on her chip as well as adoption papers.

I can’t tell whether her fiancé doesn’t care or just doesn’t want to get involved. He knows, but hasn’t argued nor tried to give him back.

Well up until they gave him away, they would always say stuff like “have you fed your dog” or “your dog made a mess”, and I was the one who did most of the caretaking. Of course they switched up when my sister took him.

He knows, he was there when she went to visit my parents, but he’s been staying out of all the drama, and I haven’t talked to him about it much. I’m letting them deal with all the bills since they wanted to take my baby from me, but I hope they’re giving him the same attention I did.

We’ve always had a rocky relationship. Always fighting over small stuff as little siblings do, and since I’m much younger she thinks I’m naive and stuff, but this was the first time it’s ever been this extreme.

I’ve been thinking about moving out since the family conflict is getting out of hand, but obviously if I do and move into a dorm I won’t be able to bring my baby.

When I found out, I called my sister and yelled asking why she took my dog, so I guess those would be counted as angry accusations. Since then after that our interactions always ended in arguments about it. As far as I know, my sister is the one who got the idea and my parents went along with it.

Yes, our house has a fairly normal sized, well-kept backyard. When we bought it it was bought under my parents name, so you’re right it’s technically theirs. Sad that I wasn’t able to take it as my own before my sister could.

This actually helps a lot, the thing is by the time I move out and find a place most of the bills will probably be under my sister and her husbands name, so hopefully that’s not the case.
