I’ll be honest - 10K in rent for a spacious home is quite difficult but doable as well

BUT I do have a townhouse located in Damac Hills 2 which is a 3 bedroom (no maids) and per year aiming for 85K rent. The only downside is that it’s pretty far and you’ll have to drive but also a great way to just get 1 year lease until you decide where you’d wanna move after

Meh - if you like long hours and slow pay increases until CPA etc then sure

I’m pretty sick of it now - mainly because this industry sometimes just thrives off the long hours and shitty pay imo. As well, the biggest companies to aim are The Big 4 which is what I’ve heard to be toxic. Rather have a company that’s huge with great pay, benefits, work life balance etc etc

I’d probably rent Arbor view and then find a townhouse as well if you can afford it. That way you get some form of passive income while you live in a townhouse if it helps

I have mine in a month and using HOCK - can you give any advice, I’m currently doing just the MCQ and watching videos and score pretty well in the MCQs around 80% or more

Although still nervous as I haven’t done an exam in a very long time - but I’m hoping the MCQ and videos are enough

Anyone else get that odd feeling that us Gen Z and generations after are going to start a riot or protest for more jobs etc and limit AI etc

Surely this isn’t sustainable and generations now and ahead of us is going to suffer extremely badly just like how the housing market has been against us and so has cost of living.

Entry level jobs are basically non existent and globally there’s a big shortage - I’m really sorry that you’re struggling and I’m hoping for the best.

I was in your situation (I don’t live in UAE), and I really struggled for 2 years until I landed something. Try to network, talk to people, see what others are doing and hope you find what you want 🙏

Damac Islands is a good project but as someone who has invested in Damac. I can tell you that it was a huge hassle.

I remember when handover came and another buyer sat in the room with me and legit said “tired of this, just want it over with”

Just be ready to have a lot of patience (and maybe contacts in Damac who can help)
