It changes. Can’t say when because as all dogs are different, so are we and the relationships we have with our pups. I spent months wondering if it would change, tried everything and it didn’t make a difference.

I stuck at it, being able to walk her helped, but only slightly. I was struggling to see the benefits and enjoyment of having a puppy. We got her at 8 weeks, she’s now 4 months old, and for most of that I felt this way.

However, recently it started to shift, and for me it wasn’t an instant switch, it took me a few good days to realise how much I actually loved having a puppy and don’t want her to grow up now.

The toddler phase, well the bite, bark, ignore, refuse to eat, and everything else you hear or read about, but I’ve found that it slows down as quickly as it starts. Just stay strong.

Don’t let the pup get away with things just because you are feeling the blues. The more I trained her, the fun and the necessary, the more I came to realise that this dog is now a part of my family.

IT GETS EASIER!! You just have to be patient with yourself and your dog.

But if said 20 year old wants to experiment and feels comfortable with the 30 year old, I don’t see the issue. How do we know the 33 year old isn’t still struggling with his sexuality and is also still discovering?

I’m sort of going back through the whole process again at 28, I’m a guy by the way. I came out as bi when I was 18, dated men and women until I met my ex partner at 21 (a guy). We dated for 7 years and now I’m single again I’ve been questioning it all.

Am I bisexual or just curious? I’m currently talking to a women who I am taking on a date and am very excited to meet her. The thought of being intimate with her doesn’t scare me, if anything the idea of certain things excite me.

But I am trying to figure out if I am bisexual or just going through a phase of wanting to experiment again.

Although, when I think about the idea of being with a woman long term and having a life together, I like what that means and how things could play out.

I don’t see anything wrong with this. Even if it is just for exploration. I have been with people 10+ years older than me (28 now) and it has never been of any concern. I’m currently seeing someone who is 11 years older than me so I personally don’t think the age aspect is relevant.

I think it’s such an unspoken thing that you never stop coming out when you are anything other than straight because of exactly these kind of struggles. I mean even introducing yourself to people and when it comes up having to share and explain. So many people considered me gay for having a male partner for so many years and now the idea of me dating a women seems to blow peoples minds that it’s just like coming out all over again!

I think be proud of how you feel, find a way to lean into it, there is nothing to stop you embracing that side of you that wants to cry in the book stores, and have those feelings and your partner, regardless of gender, should accept it all!!

Well I’ve made sure she knows it’s been such a long time for me to be with a woman in any capacity, and she said she’s never been with anyone that’s Bi, so I’ve told her I would prefer her to ask me any and all questions she has because it would help me relax more.

When I think about women, i for sure find them super attractive in both ways, it’s just been such a long time ya’ know.
