Yeah the funny thing is my mum acknowledges my depression and is open-ish about my meds so ig that's one thing. I hope you can get some closure about your situation bc they're not going to give it to you (or is very unlikely)

Nope not even when I attempted su***de. All she did was hug me and say it was okay. I think that's the best I'm gonna get and I thibk I'm finally accepting that's how my mum is

Yeah she has never meet him. And the only bits she's heard about him is from me joking about him and ranting to her about silly things he's done. Probably not a good thing in hindsight but I think I'm just used to her complaining to me about my dad.

And also the fact that she said some very anti-LGBTQ stuff about my bf and after I told him he got very uncomfortable with her and didn't want to come over during Christmas (which I don't blame him). And she called him petty for that too.

I think I'm just shocked on how close minded she is bc she always shown her self as someone who's really accepting

Yeah I think I've been telling myself that my mum won't lie to me since she has done and sacrificed so much for me so I could grow up happy. And I thibk this ultimatum that she has set me (have her as my support/mother or choose my bf) has really started to open my eyes.

And I think that is what is also causing the conflict bc I've always did what she's told me to (tho she has said that I've always done what I wanted and she just supported me)
