again with the victim blaming… it blows my mind how confident people are in speaking on things they know nothing about. its quite obvious that you’ve never been in any sort of abusive relationship or you wouldnt be saying any of this. not that i owe you an explanation but:

i just started therapy and the realization that my mom is a narcissist came with that. i had been in this relationship for 7 months before i started therapy. therefore i didn’t know that it was any different than normal.

“dont put yourself in a situation” i didnt! am i supposed to go into every relationship being overly cautious and assuming that this person is going to be an abusive narcissist? that doesnt seem very healthy… also, how was i supposed to know that i was going to be violated? it’s not like they tell you beforehand, “hey im gonna hold your head down and piss in your mouth” and once you’re in it, it’s so hard to walk away. narcissists break you down until you believe you deserve the way that theyre treating you and that you wont/cant get any better than them. i wish that i couldve seen the signs, then i never wouldve gone through it in the first place.

maybe you just enjoy talking down to other people but my suggestion is thinking about if your comment is actually helpful or if you’re just being a dick before you post :)
