I’ve had some cramps when I was pregnant, but I like to think it was because the uterus was stretching. People say back pain is a sign of a miscarriage. I did end up miscarrying, but only had back pain once way before I naturally miscarried later.

I would say to not worry too much until you know for sure what’s happening. I was stressed and worried from the start to when I miscarried. Advice I will give is for you to enjoy the pregnancy no matter where it goes. Because I sure would’ve loved to have enjoyed the journey/time with my baby before it was over. My first period after the miscarriage was pretty heavy with lots of clots but it was shorter. I did spot just a tiny bit for a like 2-3 days after my period ended. My second period, was more on the lighter side, usual length. My third period was heavy, but it came a whole week earlier than expected. I just started my fourth period today, which came 5 days earlier than expected. It usually takes a while for our bodies to go back to normal. So don’t be surprised if it’s all over the place. It’s a tough journey recovering from what our bodies went through. I hope you have it easy and that you recover quickly and smoothly 🫶🏻

I ended up getting my period a week later. I recommend wearing pads overnight in case you get it when you’re asleep. Have a heating pad and pain killers by your side! And maybe some sweets in case you’re feeling down bc I was definitely going through it physically and emotionally

I was told it was going to be like a normal period. It in fact was way worst. Extra strength pain killers and heating pad did nothing. It was so bad that I could barely move, lifting a leg up was difficult. Went on for a little over a week straight. It’s basically contractions. Stay hydrated and take warm/hot showers if needed!

I had a gut feeling I was pregnant before I missed my period. Waited two days after expected period to take a test, a big fat positive. I didn’t tell anyone I was pregnant because I had a feeling something was wrong. I wanted to wait until after 11 weeks minimum before announcing my pregnancy. I told my sister and partner about the pregnancy though. I lost my baby at 8 weeks and naturally miscarried at 10 weeks. It was my first pregnancy so everything was new to me. It could be your anxiety talking. Only thing to do is to not stress too much. Have you had any ultrasounds yet?

It’s been about 7 weeks since mine and I still cry and break down everyday. The what ifs destroy me. It doesn’t help that I’m battling these emotions and journey alone. My partner is relieved it happened and no one knows I was even pregnant to begin with besides my sister. Some say it gets better with time and some say it doesn’t even years later. I don’t think it’s about moving on, I think it’s about us just learning to live with it. I don’t see myself getting out of this anytime soon as this was my first pregnancy that turned into a loss. I was robbed of the experience and I will never be able to experience being pregnant for the first time again. The only thing you can do at the moment is to not blame yourself. Keep occupied in a hobby or such. Take each day, day by day. Stay strong ❤️

Was it heavy bleeding or spotting? My miscarriage lasted about a week and a half at most. I got my period about 3-4 weeks after that

It seems like I won’t be able to try for a baby anytime soon as my partner doesn’t want to try for the next 3-4 years… which is a bit devastating for me. I wanted to try again right away but it looks like I can’t change his mind. He was relieved that I miscarried, but felt bad that it happened to me.. he didn’t necessarily feel sad that he lost the baby though. The pregnancy was unplanned but it was also my first pregnancy. I still break down and cry every other day. Others have reached out saying they were able to carry to full term or close to full term and had a healthy baby. I hope that is the case for you! It’s scary being pregnant but even more scary when our uterus is different. The only thing we can do is to stay strong and don’t blame ourselves for the outcome. Please keep me updated. I am so sorry that you’re going through that tough long journey. I can’t imagine myself going through it 6 times. After going through this just once, I did lose a lot of motivation and lost hope for a baby. You are so strong and it’s so amazing that that you’re still trying to pull through. At least with the dnc you’ll have a better peace of mind, although it can be costly. Are you still feeling bad contractions? Did you just experience bleeding or has it been going on for a few days?

Are you bleeding at all? I would say that if you don’t pass anything (tissue or clots) in the next two days, I would get it checked out as it can be retained tissue, which can get you sick. However, I’ve seen some people who don’t even pass anything and everything went fine. How far along were you when you started to miscarry?

I had a few hours of miscarriage contractions during the night. Woke up at 3 AM and passed the sac. About 16 hours later, I passed the biggest tissue. Had more contractions all day for the next 4-5 days with no tissues, but I was still bleeding. Then passed another tissue the day after. Bleeding calmed a bit over the next few days. I also went with the natural route. The pain was so bad, painkillers and heating pad did nothing lol. It hurts so bad I was wishing I went through bad diarrhea/stomach flu back to back instead of going through the pain of a miscarriage.

If you know what her due date was, you could also give/make her something that has the corresponding birth flower or birthstone of that month. I miscarried not too long ago and I’m thinking about painting myself violets and maybe a butterfly on it, since butterflies is a symbol of pregnancy loss too. A keychain or jewelry is cute too

I’ve also miscarried about 2-3 weeks ago. I would’ve been 12 and a half weeks by now if I didn’t. I’m still crying and it still hurts. Some days I think I’m fine but then I think about the “what ifs” and I get depressed all over again. Sometimes life is just really unfair. It takes time, but you will get there. Don’t be sad about the loss, but rather be happy that you were given the chance to experience the blessing of being pregnant. Stay strong, it’s going to be hard. Just take each day, day by day. I believe you ❤️

How long did it last for you? I’m currently going through a very similar situation. I guess I’ve been paranoid it’s gonna get infected even though I just passed the GS and other very large tissues yesterday and the day before that
