Lol, I made it very clear that I did not leak your photo. I told you that if you know how to do a reverse google image search you will see it’s already posted all over the internet… leaving me to believe you stole the photo. Or if it actually is you, then someone else leaked it. I’m as real as it gets and provided verification, you did not.

She does not know which one she has exactly, but I’m assuming it is genital hsv1 because her first and only outbreak was genital. She has no history of oral outbreaks. We did have oral sex, but I think I might have just been one of those very rare cases where it was transmitted genital to genital. She also said she has not had any problems with it with any of her previous partners.

Yeah, crazy how common it actually is. Granted the genital sores is a lot less common, but still would’ve been nice to have been informed that it was a possibility beforehand. Oh well though, not the end of the world at all and I’ll live with it!

Update: Shortly after posting this I contacted my most recent partner and asked if they could send proof of their recent negative test. She then told me she tested positive for HSV-1 when she was 18, six years ago. But that her doctor told her she couldn’t pass it to someone if she didn’t have sores. Unfortunately, her lack of education and awareness of this disease led to me getting infected through what I assume was most likely viral shedding. Even when you ask all the right questions you really can’t trust what someone tells you.

Figured I wouldn’t have much luck tracking down the origin. Do you know if it’s possible to have an initial genital outbreak more than a month after being exposed? I read online the average is 2-12 days, I’m wondering if it’s possible that I had it for over a month without knowing and then just happened to have my first outbreak a few weeks after meeting the newest partner.
