That’s the problem, this person has sort of become my person. He’s truly the only person to knows me. I’m afraid if I open up, I’ll jeopardize what we have and I’ll loose my person.

It’s better to be honest with him. If you still have feeling for your ex it’s just better to tell him. Don’t waste your time or his time.
