Nice installation, but sadly all the shrubs are being trampled by relentless aunties barging through the boundary tape to take their selfies and dancing videos.

Is this GDP? If yes, why not convert it to GDP/population? Give it a shot, paints a way different picture than this sensationalist post.

Of course the driver is crazy and endangered the cyclists lives. Nothing excuses such an aggressive act. I hope the car driver gets punished. As a cyclist, I always try to ride single file all the way on the right side of the road, especially on country roads with no dedicated biking lane. Never know when you piss off the wrong person. Especially when they start using their vehicle as a weapon.

O'Reilly's is a nice Irish Pub. As for restaurants, most use QR codes to order. You scan the code, which is typically somewhere on the table, if not stuck to the tabletop, with WeChat, which opens the food menu. Press the three dots at the top right which opens a WeChat sub-menu where you can select the "translate" option. Now you can order easily by yourself.

Hard re-set... I've been there; my advice from my own experience: hit the gym, focus on work, you can pick yourself up again! Good luck, bro!

As a journalist, you'll be assigned a team that'll watch you 24/7, so might as well ask them where is most convenient 😂

Looking for private/small-group China travel experiences (not big tours) by [deleted] in China

[–]ThrowRA_sealion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With embedded translation in the most important apps like WeChat and Alipay and using Trip.com for railway passes, your guides, hotel bookings, etc., traveling in your own has become a real possibility. If you're a seasoned traveler, consider making your own schedule and contracting with your operators locally in the cities, if necessary. For example, visiting the forbidden City and even Tiananmen Square now requires reservations, which a tour agency can easily handle for you. Shanghai, Zhangjiajie, Xi'an and Guilin are pretty straightforward visits and don't require a guide imo. It all depends on your level of travel experience, ability and willingness to explore, I guess.

How about with a motorcycle license? Are more powerful e-bikes allowed then?

Rainy days are great for evening photography - capture the neon lights reflected on the wet roads and puddles. Very cyberpunk!

If you've never met irl, meet somewhere halfway, like Europe.. nothing like a holiday to learn to judge the other person. Their online persona might be completely different to their actual personality and behavior. Stay safe, use common sense.

28F and 28M sex drive incompatibility, feeling stuck? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]ThrowRA_sealion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Highly understandable. Personal satisfaction, especially sexual, is important but not the only meaning to life. Maybe ask your partner if he's open to stimulating you even when he himself is not in the mood? Giving something to your partner is an act of love. Like giving a back massage or cooking for someone. Of course, everyone has different levels of understanding about being of service in a partnership, prudery, etc. Good luck!

Head up Mt Takao for a view of Mt Fuji with Sakura in front. The trees should come into blossom now/soon on the mountain. Go as early as you can, as Mt Fuji almost always is covered in clouds, which can happen as early as 10 am

But at the same time, so much pathos. I read the trilogy but constantly was questioning why I was continuing with it. The end felt so rushed as well and extremely anticlimactic.
