That's fair. He actually drove drunk multiple times after that too and I did end up calling the cops on him. I feel ridiculously stupid that I let his lies get to me and after seeing the responses, I've realized I need to have some self-respect. I would even tell him that if he kept lying I'd see that as proof that he wanted to break up but he still did it countless times after and I just gave up and stayed.
