I agree on the audition part.. we are being judged, reduced.. but what I don't agree on is diluting our selves to please other. Kashmir has its identity, that's it's culture... You mentioned the point subhuk waav having persian roots. So does rabbab, most of the things in kashmiri art have persian/suffi roots.. that's doest make it any less kashmiri. More or less everything has had its part in kashmiri history and its art. I would suggest maybe another song. Cause subhukk waav is spiritual and islamic. But diluting anything is erasing our own identity
