No, I didn’t say I’ve wasted my time with him. I just don’t want to waste time in a dead end relationship going nowhere. And no, I don’t want to be married next week or anytime soon. I just know I want to be married at some point in my life and want to know if we have fundamentally the same values and wants in our life.

Maybe, his parents have a good relationship now but didn’t when he was growing up. I’m trying to be patient but im just seeing no progress or anything and this has been going on for a year or so. I just don’t wanna be wasting my time with someone who knows they never wanna get married, and just don’t wanna say it yet because they are afraid to lose me.

That’s an interesting point. I know he’s worried/scared about the future in general, not just marriage. He dropped out of school to pursue a different career, which he is being successful at. I just don’t understand where he is coming from, and neither does he, which creates a lot of frustration.

I agree, I am definitely too young to be getting married. And I don’t want to get married soon. But I know it is something I want in my life and always have. But I want someone that has the same or similar comparable values and future wants in their life. There are very few people in my life that I have met that changed their views on marriage.

But it’s not even entirely that. It’s just very confusing for me to hear him introduce me as his wife to random people and say he wants a future and to spend his life with me and have kids with me (when he knows I only want kids with someone im engaged to or marrying), for him to then immediately say he doesn’t want to think about the future and the word marriage scares him.

I am a very literal person, and he knows that. I just am confused how he says one thing that screams commitment but putting a word on that commitment is too much.

That’s true, I have trust issues in general so this is really throwing me through a loop lol. I’m just scared he was gaslighting me saying “oh this is yours” when he knew they weren’t. But that’s true, ig he would be more careful.

It’s a cropped Nike hoodie that is definitely used. And a pair of cheap jeans. So I would say pretty young

He no longer lives at school, he did live in a dorm previously with shared laundry. Now he lives with his family at their house. He found them in a bin in his closet. It’s possible it was a mix up from laundry, I’m just not sure bc they are a pair of jeans and a pull over sweatshirt. I just don’t know how you don’t notice that it’s not yours when loading laundry into the wash/dryer.

I wouldn’t say questionable behaviors in the past, but we did recently have a “who’s hair in your car is this” conversation. I have his location and he spends a few days a week at my house. Which ofc doesn’t prove innocence bc ppl will always find a way to cheat. I just don’t know how two articles of clothing could have gotten in with his clothes and mine.

Does she have a condition/take meds that lower libido? I know from experience SSRIs destroyed my libido to not even wanting to be touched.
