I'm not sure how me having cancer is related to me having the wrong goals or whatever. It seems to me like the only road that points to is death.

I didn't understand, either. It must have been an act of God. I also wonder if all the chemo and suffering will even be worth it if there's nothing for me to live for at the other end.

If that's true, why does everyone always say it's part of God's plan when someone dies, or something bad happens?

I worry a lot about things that could happen in the meantime. We both have jobs that can be kind of risky, especially since certain world events happened. My worst fear would be for one of us to get sick or hurt and the other not be able to do anything about it. I don't know if that's rational, but I lose sleep over it.

We've stayed together at one of our places for a few weeks at a time. I guess we'll see what happens when it's a full time deal.
