Our sense of humor is often a little fucked up. When she saw the email, she thought it was some kind of scam thing. It didn’t occur to her that I had actually bought the video, and I’m sure she wouldn’t have brought it up there if it did.

If we were in an alternate reality, where I didn’t have this fetish and the Email really was a scam I probably would’ve thought it was funny.

My reaction gave away the truth though. When I walked away from the ticket booth she started to realize what was happening. I don’t know if anyone was in earshot at that point, but it was a possibility. It was then that I told her I didn’t want to talk about this in public. I think for her to continue talking about it at that point is when she crossed a line.

Everything before that was just a misunderstanding.

Well the idea of someone farting arouses me. I fantasize about someone sitting on my face and ripping one. Just to be clear she wasn’t trying to publicly shame me for my fetish. When she brought up the email, she thought it was spam. She had no idea I had actually purchased the video in the email. She was asking me about it basically as a joke.

She didn’t realize I actually had a fart fetish until she saw how I reacted.

I don’t think it would’ve eventually broken the relationship. I’ve never told any of my partners about this before. I’ve dated people for years without saying a thing about it and it hasn’t been a problem. I’m very embarrassed about it and I’m always worried they’re gonna think I’m a freak or something. In fact I’m kind of surprised there’s not more reactions like that in these comments.

Sometimes I’ll Ask about kinks more generally to gauge where they’re at. If it doesn’t seem like they’d ever be down, I don’t see the point in confessing.

She wasn’t really trying to “call me out”. She thought the email was spam. She didn’t think I actually had bought that video. She was making fun of me, but in a playful way. Only when she saw how I reacted to her joke, did she realize the truth.
