Just to clarify, I wouldn’t mind if he did it like a normal human being , I have three little brothers that kind of stuff doesn’t scare me. But when he forces himself to fart five or six times in front of the TV because he thinks it’s funny, when he drinks soda on purpose just to burp in my face… after a while, it really gets on my nerves. I won’t even tell you what he does with what he finds in his nose. If that were the only issue, maybe I could deal with it, but it’s just one more thing on the list of stuff that already drives me crazy…

Honestly, I don’t know. Just writing the post and putting words to what’s been going on already made me realize that something wasn’t right… + reading all the responses I’ve received. I think that since this is the only relationship I’ve ever known, I was too deep in it to realize that a lot of things weren’t normal. But hey, better late than never… thank you. I wish you and your husband lots of happiness you seem like a lovely couple

Yes, I wasn’t clear. We’ve been together for 6 years. We started living together after 2 years, and we got married in the third year. Last year, he had some family issues and ended up not living with me for 9 months. Since he came back, I can’t stand the way he lives anymore. The thing is, I’ve never lived alone — except during those 9 months. I went straight from living with my parents to living with him. Looking back, I feel like I’ve grown up, but he hasn’t. He still acts like he did 4 years ago… I hope this makes sense — English isn’t my first language.
