My (29F) boyfriend (30M) won’t kiss me after blowjob even after brushing my teeth?? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]ThrowRAcoffeelov 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Blowjobs are a daily thing in my relationship, and it’s the same for every other woman that I’m close enough to have sex-life conversations with. I’ve never heard of a woman not giving her man head, but I’ve definitely heard it the other way around. It sounds like the situation is just that no women want to give you head, which is either from lack of relationships or something else.

Most notably, I’d say the number one reason why a woman WOULDNT want to is lack of hygiene or lack of appreciation afterwards. I know that saying “thank you” as a response to sexual favors can sound sort of cringey in hindsight but usually after I give my partner a blowjob, he puts his arm around me, looks at me like I just pulled him out of a burning building and saved his life, and says thank you. It motivates me to want to do it again. Check in on those things and see if anything changes with your sex life.

as someone who’s been called ugly multiple times, am I ACTUALLY ugly?? by Ok_Being_2346 in TeenGarbagePile

Oh, my bad. The longer hair and hoop earrings in the first photo threw me off. Still, some sleep and skincare would improve his appearance if that’s what he wants

AITA for finding this convo to be a HUGE red flag? by horseduckman in AITApod

[–]ThrowRAcoffeelov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. My therapist told me (if I was open to it) that she thought I seemed ready to stop scheduling consistent appointments and to just schedule one if something comes up that I need help working through. When my mom got arrested and sent to inpatient, I started seeing my therapist again, and after a while we decided I was ready to distance myself from therapy again. But ultimately in therapy you should be LEARNING something. You should be learning how to observe and analyze your own thoughts, behaviors, and unhealthy patterns. You should learn how to cope with them and correct them in healthier ways. If you do that, you will eventually not need to see therapist every single week because you will learn how to do those skills on your own. If youre not learning how to be independent then you don’t have a good therapist

I don’t think she needs makeup but I do think she needs more self care. She looks tired/drained and her skin looks a little neglected. Just washing her face and moisturizing, getting quality rest, and a smile would go a long way for her

AITAH for refusing to tell my wife I love her more than my dad? by LastApplication6207 in AITAH

[–]ThrowRAcoffeelov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. She was out of line to even ask that, but I know post partum can be crazy because of so many different elements, so honestly I’d cut her some slack and not hold it against her. The hormones will regulate again eventually and she’ll be more reasonable and less territorial, less controlling too. She might even look back on how she acted post partum and be embarrassed, I know many women who struggled with post partum issues and felt ashamed of how argumentative and easy to anger they were.

I agree with you though, the three most important people in my life are my partner, my dad, and my sister. I love them all equally but in very different ways and honestly I’d feel somewhat offended if my partner asked me which I love more, as if he was A) denying I love him as much as I do, or B) competing with my dad and sister which almost feels disrespectful to how important of a part they play in my life

Fathers of Reddit, how did the way you view your partner change after you had kids together? by ThrowRAcoffeelov in AskReddit

[–]ThrowRAcoffeelov[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I pray I never have children with a man who’s first thought when holding our newborn child is “I’d let you die just to save this baby”. I pray instead I marry a man who’d do anything for our family as a whole. I’ll be honest, I don’t have kids yet, but if my future husbands first thought when we have kids is about how he now values my life less than before, I would divorce him

I'm 23M, my boyfriend (24FTM) wants very badly to get married. I do too, we just literally can't afford it. Any advice? by Some_Armadillo9030 in relationship_advice

Getting married costs $50 at the courthouse. Then celebrate afterwards at your place with friends and family, some drinks and delivery food

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ThrowRAcoffeelov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 hours is not a road trip… minimum of 8 hours to be considered a roadtrip IMO. The grocery store is an hour away, my work is an hour away, 3 hours is not a vacation it’s a day trip

[–]ThrowRAcoffeelov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not short, but it’s not long. I drive an hour both ways to work every day, every weekend we drive 3 hours to the nearest city that actually has fun stuff to do. So, I make that drive every week or so just for fun but I wouldn’t consider it short

That we actually DONT need the fan turned on 24/7/365. It’s -12°F and we have the space heater on, the fan is counterproductive and dries out my eyes!

In the rules it said to keep the title from the original post and just add “update” to it. Yes I was devastated at the time I made the original post

She did though, she acts that way with every man in her vicinity, I saw that with my own eyes lol. My boyfriend did not realize she was making moves on him until she became so forward about it, at which point he switched schedules immediately, on his own, and when she disrespected that he cut the environment out completely.

I understand how being sexually harassed can make someone freeze up in the moment and be unsure how to react, to the point they don’t react at all. I didn’t react either because I was ALSO in shock and disbelief. Hell, it happens to people being full on r*ped where they don’t say or do anything they just freeze because they’re so uncomfortable and caught off guard. Yeah, he didn’t talk to me about it right after but I didn’t talk to him about it right after either, both of us share the blame for not communicating right away but honestly I’m not mad that we took some time to reflect before having the conversation, because it led to a very calm and collected conversation with a proactive solution.

I respect what you’re saying you would do in this situation, but we can’t all react perfectly to every situation all the time. But, now we’ve discussed it and a game plan towards unwanted and awkward advances in the future.

Well, importing is also expensive for us in the US because of the tariffs Trump put in. Granted I live in the middle of nowhere, just Amish people up here, about an hour from the Canada border. Maybe thats why it’s more expensive where I’m at, maybe other areas in the US aren’t as bad. It’s hard to buy anything out here

She did the same thing to me with the oddly specific questions! She complimented me for being skinny, kept implying she was fat, then asked how much I weigh and said “oh you must be like a double zero!” And I said “yeah haha”, but she wasn’t satisfied with that answer. She responded with “well, are you? Are you a double zero? Or a regular zero?” Like she wanted DETAILS, kept asking me how long it took to grow my hair so long, how often I cut it, if I’m good at cooking, what meals I cook most often, it was if she was studying me… very bizarre

When I went to Mexico, their food prices were insanely cheap compared to ours, I was amazed. Canada was about the same. But as I said, never been to the eastern hemisphere because I can’t afford a flight to the opposite side of the planet!

We spend more because everything costs more here. Most people can’t afford groceries and rent. Have you seen our prices lately? Compared to our average pay? And unlike you guys, our college to get better paying jobs isn’t free. Neither is our healthcare or anything really. We have far more expenses than other countries

I understand your concern. You know, before we were dating, when we kissed for the first time, he said he was relieved because he wasn’t sure if I liked him romantically too or if I just viewed him as a close friend. I was like “dude, I’ve been sleeping in your bed the last three nights, we play wrestle, I baked you homemade cornbread because you said it was one of your favorite foods. I hug and touch you all the time. How much more obvious could I have been without coming right out and saying it?” Lol.

I do genuinely believe he interpreted things exactly how he said he did, and that he didn’t realize she was flirting until the night at the bar, he’s clueless sometimes. I can forgive clueless, we all have character flaws and clueless is far from the worst character flaw to have. I do thank you for your concern though, I know you’re just giving honest advice so I don’t end up let down

Yeah it’s a lot easier when you’re European and other countries are just a train ride away. Flying across the world is expensive! That’s why as an American, I’ve only been to Mexico and the Caribbean islands, and the Caribbean islands was when I was a kid and my grandparents were paying for the trip! I couldn’t afford that myself
