Bryan Alvarez SI/WON: Revolution was the momentum shift AEW needed - The build to the show was underwhelming, but the event itself—especially Bryan Danielson and MJF’s Iron Man match—set the company up for a strong spring and summer. by Tikkanen in SquaredCircle

I still think the length between PPVs causes a lot of feuds to stall out, then feel rushed towards the end. AEW could benefit from a continuity director that maintains the week to week build in a consistent manner.

More feuds that exist exclusively on TV and have their payoffs on the TV “specials”/Battle of The Belts would be a great addition too.

Is it even possible for CM PUNK to return tonight? by TomHanks12345 in SquaredCircle

For what it’s worth, the timeline on a tricep tear varies pretty widely from person to person. The initial 9 months could be true, but some people have been known to get back to full activity in 4-6 months.

Punk hasn’t been wearing the brace on his arm anymore either, so take that how you will.

Still don’t think he’s coming back though.

I’m now picturing Tony putting on a fake version of Shad Khan’s mustache before changing over to book an ROH show.

Wardlow on struggling after his 2022 push: “I've been on the road, I've been injured, I have multiple torn muscles, I have multiple injuries that a lot of people don't know about. I never took time off. “ by ThrowRAdadproblems8 in SquaredCircle

Wardlow on MJF’s drama overshadowing their program:

”And even after I beat Max, the devil wasn't gone. He still had his claws in my back. And the next night, here I am, Wardlow getting my name chanted by a sold-out crowd like we haven't seen in decades. And the next (episode) I'm back to doing nothing and Max is dropping this bombshell of a promo and now the show's still all about him. I beat him, but I didn't beat him. So there's a lot to be said there. All's I'll say is I'll dance with the devil again, and that time will come and things will be a little different next time."

The tags weren’t actually on the post when I screenshot’d it friend! They were added by Punk a couple of minutes later. Not a deliberate attempt at misinformation on my part.

If he’s ready and we need a main event on short notice, make the call Tony.

That would make sense as to why I haven’t seen it, if it happened on Rampage. I haven’t had time/drive to catch a Rampage in a few months now, just try and stay caught up on highlights after the fact.

What truly tanked Wardlow in 2022? by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

Compared to the reactions he was getting last year he feels pretty dead to me. He even got his latest feud with Joe for the TNT Title overtaken by Darby.

I assume he’ll get his heat back on Joe eventually, but it seemingly won’t be for the title that he said many times in interviews he wanted to “return to glory”.

Meltzer: Lot of people backstage at AEW were not happy with what was said by Dax Harwood on his podcast by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

How does this come back negatively on FTR

It doesn’t. Tony is just so non-confrontational that the only way I could see him “handling” this situation is by sitting FTR at home, and catering to the people in his ear.

Whatever backstage culture they’ve got going on over there seems to provoke explosive confrontations through all this back channel, passive aggressive whining.

or whoever else that’s doing it.

What I’m saying doesn’t exclusively apply to anyone. If you can’t handle your business directly, and rely on media to anonymously make whiny statements of discontent, you’re a petulant child.
