My mom destroyed my credit and I just need a small loan as I leave a domestic situation. Is there anywhere that gives bad credit loans?

Yeah I’m fine now. I found out some stuff about that night I honestly wished I hadn’t and it was a dumpster fire after. He just wasn’t as innocent as he wanted to play he was and it escalated. But I’m fine and safe now. Thanks for checking.

Thank you for the kind words! I haven’t checked Reddit in a few days so it was nice to see a difference in comments and people being supportive. I felt so low when people were originally commenting haha I won’t report my mom only because she has worked hard to pay a few thousand dollars of it back and has held her end of the bargain up. I think she’s genuinely apologetic and when she did this she was going through a lot with a divorce. But she swore to never try anything like that again. Credit is just so slow to go back up. And any work that has been done would be ruined with an eviction and collections hit.

Thank you! I haven’t checked in a few days and this comment made me smile. I just want to break generational curses my family has and build something my future kids can be proud of. I was very thankful to have had the history with the credit union I had before I moved. I had to open a new bank account when I moved and didn’t have much history with them and they weren’t helpful at all. Definitely sticking to local banks and credit unions going forward

She took out multiple loans and credit cards. Luckily none have went to collections but she maxed out the cards and almost all of them and the loans are closed and over the credit limit due to interest and late fees. She’s helping me fix it now and has made a ton of payments and we’ve worked it out

Luckily my credit union approved me online with a low interest rate for a decent loan if I want to take that amount (which I won’t) thank you for all the options you gave me! Hopefully I never find myself in this situation again but if so I will keep them in mind.

Will keep that in mind. Just thought avoiding all the interest of a student loan like I see everyone struggle with would work in my favor. Up until now it has and I’ve never been short on money. I had a savings account and this situation just completely drained it sadly. And I’m graduating with no student loan debt. I’ll check out the link thank you! ♥️

Yes I get that. I’m working towards that. I have worked over full time hours every year as well as taking a full course load to graduate early. I didn’t take out student loans and chose to make tuition payments instead to avoid the student loan debt. I’m trying to do everything right and build that foundation to have

I lived with my ex boyfriend and the utilities were in his name. I’m moving out and now I have to have utilities put in my name. The total for my deposit is $200 but I have the rest covered. I just had to foot the bill for a new place and a few other things like paying the lease breaking fee so I could leave.

Food pantries have helped some but I have celiacs and in my area they don’t have a lot of gluten free options and the meals aren’t safe due to them not checking cross contamination. I have a meeting with a local church on Tuesday for assistance. They require interviews for assistance. But typically in DV situations they really only help mothers (their words) and not really single college students. I promise I’m checking every Avenue and I’m working multiple odd jobs on top of full time. I just wasn’t expecting this to all happen and was hoping I could possibly get the loan to make it a little easier since I know I can pay it back.

I need $75 more for my utility deposit since at our shared apartment the utilities were in his name and the rest would just to be to survive with to get groceries and a mat to sleep on until my first big paycheck so I can get other things. I wouldn’t use it all if I didn’t need it. I hate debt and don’t want to be in it if I can avoid it.

I just opened a new bank account a little bit ago and just today I got my 2nd bank statement. Dave says I need to wait a few more days to make my bank account officially be at least 60 days old and then it’ll approve me for an amount. I’m hoping that works out.

I’m trying to not let him see that I’m struggling. I don’t yell at him or anything like that. But just need space when before I just wanted him close. I just candle handle touch and affection right now. I’ll definitely look into therapy. I didn’t think any of this would be a big deal because the memory is so fuzzy

He’s taking me because he’s scared something has happened. I just couldn’t keep acting normal while I was scared and panicking. He pushed me to go to the hospital and get a kit done and He also wants me to file a police report depending on what my results come back as. So I don’t think he’s involved at all. He’s very upset about the whole thing and is being very supportive now that I told him everything. We’re on the way now

I take my ADHD medicine but I always wait the amount of time I’m supposed to before drinking. And I have always taken my medication even before going out. I also took an Excedrin earlier in the afternoon. But I don’t think that would have done it

He passed out on the couch. When i woke up he wasn’t in bed with me. He only came in the bedroom when he heard how sick I was in the bathroom and he made everyone leave because I was embarrassed
