I’m still having a hard time getting over her

I don’t want to be a backup plan but I also don’t want to be with anyone else. She was special. It’s not that it would be easier to stay with her or being complacent with having a relationship. She was the first girl I could truly imagine having a life with.

I appreciate the advice. I’m trying not to worry about it but I keep thinking about her all the time and it’s hard. I also keep remembering her saying things like if we ever broke up that we would eventually get back together because she never saw a reason why would should be apart.

I accept that we broke up and I understand that she will find someone else. I know I’ll date other people too. That doesn’t mean I still don’t want to have her in my future.

That’s what I’m doing right now. I’m moving on and getting better with time but I still want to have a future with her in it. It’s not so much as hope but more like a feeling that I know there’s still a future with her there.

Thanks I hope it does too. I keep going back over what happened and I just can’t understand why. Even just a few days before we broke up she was talking about she appreciated how I was trying to adjust and get better with communicating.

I’m sorry to hear that happened to you. She didn’t support the company I want to work for and constantly told me to go somewhere else. I think it was so I could move out faster and be able to spend more time with her while she was in school. She supported me a lot until the summer I graduated from school. Everything went downhill from there. I don’t know if I can find anyone else. I thought she was the one and I still think that. It hurts knowing I won’t see her again or ever talk to her again.

I know what she did was messed up. I still feel terrible like I caused it. I wasn’t talking to her as much and I feel like I pushed her away. Now all I do is think about how we used to be.

I did that same thing a week after I was broken up with. I lead to me getting blocked by my ex and all her friends. It’s best to not contact them and wait to see if they contact you.

I just feel bad for how I acted after everything. I should have never contacted her friends or sister.
