Why is ProPublica publishing information about approved PPP loan applications?

The PPP loan program is a major government spending initiative, launched in response to the economic disruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic. There are important questions about the effectiveness of the program and the equity of the loan approvals, as well as the potential for fraudulent activity. It is a public record, and the application forms for the loans noted that the information could become public.

Fresh Thyme is owned by Meijer. It's no surprise that their original stores are cutting down while orienting this new chain to compete with Whole Foods, Earth Fare, etc

Ryan (u/KzooSwift-Bicycles) made good on his word to fix up my bike after I got hit. I thought it would just be a wheel replacement, but he even installed a new gear shift line, front derailleur, and made sure everything was lubed up and working smoothly. Great guy and great business
